    The Portfolio Management Training Program is an initiative of the Investment Division to develop and train staff for key portfolio management responsibilities.  This 27-month program involves rotations through the following departments: 

    • Equities (Canadian and U.S. markets)
    • Fixed Income (bond trading, credit research and derivatives)
    • Commercial Mortgage Investments
    • Investment Accounting


    The selected candidate(s) will be required to complete the CFA Program during the training program.  Costs associated with the CFA program will be reimbursed upon successful completion of each level.  The selected candidate(s) will be eligible to attend the CFA study program (Schweser WindsorWeek®) in Windsor, Ontario for Level III.


    Upon successful completion of the Program, the employee will be placed into one of the investment teams on a permanent basis.


    This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a variety of investment disciplines with one of the most successful financial services companies in Canada.  Students graduating from the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in December 2018 or Spring 2019 with an interest in investments are encouraged to apply.

    • 1st round interviews will be held at Great-West Life on October 12th
    • 2nd round interviews will be held on October 19th
    • Scheduled start date is June 2019
