    This is your opportunity to help transform one of Canada's largest and most trusted companies and join the Digital Services Customer Experience group at Great-West Life. We’re an innovative, agile and fast-paced team within one of Canada's largest insurance and financial institutions.

    We are looking for a detail-oriented digital native who will act as a Content Contributor on the Digital Services Customer Experience team across Great-West Life, Canada Life and London Life.

    Based in Toronto or London, the successful candidate must have experience publishing content online.

    In this role you will:

    • Publish frequent updates of fresh, relevant content to our digital platforms.
    • Migrate content from legacy sites and systems to new platforms.
    • Collaborate closely with Digital Editors to adapt review, edit and publish content online.
    • Communicate proactively with colleagues to address publishing needs.
    • Work with web developers to understand how to author and publish pages in the content management system (CMS).
    • Help resolve CMS bugs with support from web developers
    • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks at any given time.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of digital properties.
    • Regularly review and provide input on publishing workflows for efficiencies and effectiveness.
    • Work closely with web developers to adjust and improve workflows.
    • Complete daily and weekly content fixes to the site.

     

    Qualifications and competencies:

    • Background in online publishing
    • Knowledge and experience working with content management systems, particularly Adobe Experience Manager ( AEM ), is a strong asset.
    • Diploma or degree in publishing, communications, journalism or media and information an asset
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
    • Self-motivated, organized and able to multitask and prioritize jobs to meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is an asset.
    • Thrives in a culture of curiosity, creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, excellence and a fun work environment.
    • Good understanding of SEO.
