    Individual Customer Technology (IC Tech) is an organization providing information technology solutions to London Life, Great-West Life and Canada Life. In IC Tech, the Customer is at the center of what we do. Our IC Tech professionals make a significant contribution to the companies' business goals through the effective delivery of value-added services. These services include setting technology direction, project management analysis, system architecture, software development and the provision of operational support services for our Individual Customer business unit.


    The Role of an Associate Software Developer:

    Associate Software Developers will participate in all aspects of software development and maintenance within the Individual Customer IC Tech division. 

    • Provide production support and application monitoring and tuning for applications
    • Design, develop, integrate, test, transition to production, and maintain software applications
    • Provide consultation with the Systems Architect and Systems Analyst
    • Provide production support and application monitoring and tuning for applications
    • Participate in project planning
    • Provide input into the evolution of the software development environment, practices, and methods

    Required skills

    • Initiative, leadership, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Application development (programming) knowledge
    • Innovative problem solving abilities
    • Ability to learn, and to work in a team environment

    Knowledge of some or all of the following would be an asset

    • .Net, VB6, Microsoft Office Development (Access, Excel, VBA), ControlM
    • SQL Server Databases
