    The London Life Insurance Company is looking for students who are graduating in 2019 to join us for a 30 month CPA training program. Our organization and the CPA Program is an ideal fit if you:


    • Want to gain valuable, practical experience towards the start of your professional career as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) within the financial services industry
    • Want to work with a variety of accounting professionals and receive valuable mentorship and guidance throughout your practical experience as part of our team in London and Toronto
    • Are in the process of obtaining your CPA designation
    • Have successfully completed all required pre-requisites to enter the Professional Education Program before the start of employment


    Students participate in a rotation program that provides the opportunity to obtain the necessary practical experience to earn the CPA Designation. Support and mentorship will also be provided to help students through the CPA Professional Education Program. The successful applicant will work through two 15-month rotations, including one in Internal Audit.  The other 15 month rotation will be in one of the following departments: Individual Customer Financial Management, Global Compliance or Corporate Taxation.

    • Working towards the CPA designation with successful completion of all required prerequisites to enter the Professional Education Program

    • Superior analytical and organizational skills
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
    • Strong report writing skills
    • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of products
