Corporate Technology professionals make a significant contribution to the companies' business goals through the effective delivery of foundational services. These services include setting technology direction, project management analysis, system architecture, software development and the provision of operational support services for various Corporate business units.
Corporate Technology at GWL is working with multiple business partners in defining strategies, creating Business and Technology roadmaps to enable business partners and realize departmental goals. A Consulting Architect – CoOp is required to work as part of the Corporate Business and Systems Architecture team to create strategies and roadmaps aligned to Organizational strategic direction.
At the end of a four-month placement at Great West Life, the individual will have gained experience in strategizing, road-mapping and matured his/her consulting skills. These skills will include interviewing business individuals to understand their priorities, guiding business on solutions and prioritizing initiatives to create roadmaps that provide the optimal return on investments.
